Today was the BIG day for all USM lectures and students.The discussion was about APEX Bamboo Pole Vaulting to 2012.The discussion started at 0900 in E48B which was school for HBP first year students.
Lompatan APEX ke 2012 need co-operation of all people but not just USMmembers.Mr WanB describe that the events of BIG was like a seed that involved contribution of all the people in USM.
Lecture WanB given the talk about the potentiol of bamboo and how BIG would contribute to 2012.

After half of the talk,Mahram came in and given a talk about herself after she study in USM and what she has experience here.
She has experience many new things and HBP had give her a great chance to discover herself and others.For me,i had the same feeling as her.Nothing is impossible when we haven try on it.In HBP,all things that seems impossible become possible after we experience ourself and after we happy about our results.
The discussion had started and one of the lecture was curious about the population and plantation of bamboo.This was the first time he saw so many bamboo and was worry about the decreasing of bamboo population if we use bamboo as development.

WanB answer his question by saying that bamboo plantation can be done by all people using just hands and will not be used up in short time.It can grow very fast.Besides,palm oil also can reserved bamboo.Other than development,we also can do some research on bamboo so that we can bring benefits to next generation.

Mr WanB said that the system for example co-curriculum should be changed and more USM students should committed to BIG.We can pull all resources together to save people,place and rule of the world.We as a students should play our part in BIG and bring peaceful to the world.
Next was the question raised by HBP students,Grace.She asked that what was the uses of IBU if 2012 is not flood but other disaster for example earthquake and volcanoes.

WanB answer that other than floating houses in Holland,South Afrika also had teach Indonesian how to prevent earthquake.We should get help from all the research to apply on the development before the disaster.He also mention that learn outside the class can help students to learn more and be more creativity other than study in class by just memorising words.

WanB said that anything can turn into energy if we seek help from people and think that is it suitable and sustainable.
Siew Bee raised a question about how long can the bamboo live with or without preservation.WanB answer that we still not so sure about the lifespan of bamboo so more research should be done on bamboo to discover it's potential.
The last question was asked by Yvonne on how the bamboo can contribute in medicine other than in building construction.Due to Mr WanB knowledge,it can treat epilepsy.
