Jewish Cemetry

Before we create our monument,we went to Kubur Yahudi which was situated along Jalan Zainal Abidin.When i heard this place i know i have to have a almost half day trip in George Town.I scare i will lost so after i asked my friend then i went there by bus.


It was nice to sit in bus tat were no people at all!We had book the bus!haha

Most of the Malaysian Jews are live in Penang.Penang Jewish Cemetery,establish in 1850 was the oldest single Jewish cemetery in Malaysia.


Presence of Sephardiac Baghdadi Jews Penang occurred in turn of 19th century as fledgling British ruled entreport grew and attract Jewish trading families.

Some of the name of the Jews here-Mr.Annettle Kotman(23 Feb 1938),Hary David Graud(19th September 1906),Aarn Manasseh(4 Jun 1957).



Not forget to take photo before back..

In this journey i had learn that there are Jews in Malaysia and most of them are live in Penang.Hope can know more about Penang history in the future.
