3C-6 Balloon Black Bamboo Box

It was a huge project for me again because i need to build a box and i never try it before.The actor is me and my intention is to build a black box which can fill in 6 standard sized helium-filled balloons.





So,i act by get the bamboo near by HBP and build the box.The rules is using bamboo and recycle paper to make the box.




I borrow parang and saw from the bengkel.




Try to cut down bamboo using parang.









Cut down the bamboo using parang.




The materials i used included PVC gum,scissors,stapler,black poster colour,rope,UHU gum,cutter,and the main character newspaper and bamboo.








Then,i cut the bamboo into 2 different size using saw.The first set was 4 pieces of 84cm bamboo stick and the second set was 8 pieces of 64cm bamboo stick.





After that,i peel the skin of the bamboo so that the surface of bamboo become rough.It will be easier for me when i colour and tie the bamboo together.

Accidentally cut my finger on half way which was very pain!The wound is quite deep.

Finally finish the peeling part..

Then,i tie the stick together to make a box.

I stick newspaper on the base and surface of the box.

I colour the box using black poster colour.

It's time for me to built the top part of the box so that i can adjust it by released the balloon one at a time.

I stick paper at the 4 side so that it will be heavier.

Bamboo stick is paste on the 4 side of the top cover so that it was shaped.

Then,i colour it with black poster colour again.

My box was done!This was my product.

I named my black bamboo box as Feeling of Merdeka because the 6 colourful balloons represent my different feelings on Merdeka.Sad,excited,happy,love,thankful and appreciate was the 6 feelings of me when Merdeka.Sad is because soldier scarified for our country but yet our country is still need improvement.The positive feelings is because our country is independent and the life of pupils is become better.Let's celebrate Merdeka!

3B-Black Box

The first thing come out from my mind about black box is it was mystery,private and elegance.My intention is to draw a box which is very useful to me and can be carry at everywhere.In the end,i decide to draw a survival black box because it was very important and can save my life.




I act by choosing the best boxes after i had try to sketch a few boxes with different scale and pattern in a A4 paper.The rules is practice sketching and colour the best product.Here was my best sketch of outside view of my box:







Here is the tools i keep inside the black box.









There are 2 ways of putting the tools.I can put the tools in double decker or i can extent the box so that i can put long tools inside the cylinder hole that pass through the top and bottom part of the box.


Then,i reduce 30% of the size of my drawing by photostatting the pictures and fit it into a A3 paper.I wash the drawing with water colour and here was my product of my each picture.

3A-Casket 4me

This was interesting because i can design my own casket even thought i never design my clothes or shoes before.My casket is almost purely made of bamboo since i found out that bamboo can be made into different kind of products.


My intention is made a casket which is made of bamboo and suitable for me.


I act by drawing my casket on paper and the rules is sketch:



a)a casket for me and my sarong.



b)how I'm placed in it.



c)how my casket is carried by 6 friends.

d)how if it were made out of bamboo.

This is how's my casket look from outside:

The casket are made with 2 bamboo colours which is light and dark brown.I like the ionic style which developed by Greek so i use the ionic style to design my casket holder.There are bamboo light in each corner of my casket so that it looks beautiful and unique.

My casket is a double decker casket because i can store my stuff at the bottom part of my casket.The stuff i put inside the casket is represent me and my life.The bamboo curtain is made so that my family and friends can view me inside the casket.

My body will be place inside the casket by body lift which is one of the easier way to place a body.I'll be placed inside by wearing a sarong that made of bamboo.The bed and my pillow also made by bamboo leaves.This is because bamboo fabric contain antiseptic which can preserve my body.

My casket will be carried by 6 friends which is need to be strong because my casket will be place on the top of the cliff.This is because i love the environment around the beach.

My assignment is place in A3 board and here was the over view of my product.

Human Dimension

I had learn about human body measurement and i realised that there are many method to measure our body scale from ancient time until today.


This was some of the Ken System i had learn to draw:




I use 'jengkal' to draw the scale of my body.The picture shown the ratio of my body which is 1:10,1:50 and 1:100.




Here's the different kind and size of cube i drawn on a A3 paper.Some of the cubes are overlapping each other.There are 6 characteristics of cube in my drawing which include:


a)transparent

b)translucent

c)opaque

d)shadow

e)shade

f)overlap




It's done and almost the whole paper is full of cubes!

Dot,Line,Shape

My lecture ,Mohd Najib required us to draw 2 building that surround HBP using dot and line respectively.

I choose to draw this pictures using line because the stucture and pattern of this traditional house is so unique especially the pattern of the lines.

Second photo i took is the HBP white building.I choose this place because the design is very outstanding.It is simple and nice.I draw the building with dots by using black pen.

My 101 Mask

The assignment is about produce 2 papier mache masks which i never heard before.However,i'm quite proud of myself because i done my mask start from zero.

I got the idea by asking my friends and search from Internet.These was the materials i bought and prepared.

First mask:My own full face+same skin colour

The materials included basin,poster colours,marker pen,newspaper,A4 paper,toilet roll,brush,cellophane tape,PVA glue,water and plastic paper.

The very first step to create the mask is tear off the newspaper into pieces so that i can paste it on my face.

Secondly,pour the PVA glue into a basin that are filled with a quarter of water.The PVA glue and water are mixed together.I stop adding the PVA glue when i feel the mixture is sticky enough.

I made holes on plastic paper so that i can see and breath when i stick the newspaper pieces on my face.

Then,i start to put the plastic paper on my face to be the base.I stick the plastic tightly on my face using cellophane tape so that it fit to my face.

I put the newspaper pieces into the mixture and start to put the newspaper pieces on my face one by one.I paste 3 layers of the newspaper on my face using brush so that the mask can become more rigid and in solid form after it dry.

I dry the newspaper on my face by using hair dryer because the weather on that day is quite humidity after raining.Then,i take off the mask.


I stick some white paper on the mask so that the colour of my face can easily been seen.

I left it to dry overnight.I paint my skin colour using poster colour.

Then,i help my mask to make up and here is the product!

Second mask:Face with emotion+black and white

The steps involves are same as the first mask but for this second mask i tear the toilet paper roll and stick to the mask so that i can get white colour mask.I cut the shape of the eyes and mouth using scissors.

Besides,i put thick toilet paper on certain area so that i can get 2-D shape and have some wrinkle effect because my intention is to have a old people face mask with sad emotion.

Here is the final step!I paint some pattern on the mask using black poster colour and here is it!
