USM-RUS 101: 10 Exhibition-Dymaxion

It's art craft time!!We were required to build a huge dymaxion with 20 faces with our assignment photo on the surface.So,i manage to get 2 pieces of card board and i combine these 2 card board to made a dymaxion.

Intention:produce a dymaxion with photo on the surface.

Actor:Me

Rules:knee height dymaxion with innovative installation,attractive montage and communication.

Act:

Firstly,i photostat the paper with the shape of dymaxion when open where cost RM6.So i shared with my 3 friends and we take turn to use it.

I traced the behind the paper with 8B pencil as shown below:

I put the 2 card board on bottom and the paper on top of it.

Started to trace the pattern using pen and ruler.

Here was the product after i traced the paper.

Then,i cut down the shape using scissor.

Here was the product where it place nicely on the floor.

On the next day,i fold the card board according to line i traced.

Then,i combine all the opening according to their 'active site'.

To ensure that the dymaxion was shaped without lose,i put double cellophane tape on it when combine all the opening.

Hopefully the dymaxion was firm and stable after i stick all the side with double cellophane tape.

The dymaxion was done!Here was the product!

Dymaxion with knee height:

I printed out all the assignment image that influence me a lot and meaningful to me which was about 20 pieces of A4 paper.Then,i stick the images on the surface of dymaxion randomly.
